Good communication is often the key to success, whether it’s providing clear direction, sharing ideas, giving feedback or simply keeping others in the loop. So in the spirit of transparency, here are a few things we’re happy to share with you right up front:
We provide a budget based on the scope of the project along with a rate sheet so clients understand costs up front. We can work by individual project or on retainer.
We always discuss with our client ahead of time when costs will exceed what has been quoted.
We generally do not bill additionally for meeting time; we consider meeting with and listening to clients to be an investment in their business success. We are available to speak with you whenever the need arises, scheduling more formal meetings, remotely or in-person, as required.
Media costs (purchased media, print placement, etc.) are managed and billed separately. Our media commission structure is the industry standard of 15%. We provide tear sheets and affidavits with our billing for all media.
We invite client input and expect there will be suggested changes along the way. We routinely allow three rounds of client revisions.
We generally do not run into creative differences because we do all of our homework upfront, including extensive discussion with the client. Ideally, we recommend implementing the plan as we suggest it, however, if budgets or the project itself should change, we can adjust accordingly within the framework of recommendations we have laid out for you.
